just after my 40th birthday, my sweet and full life – raising our three, four and fifteen year old children in southern oregon with my beloved husband – was turned upside down with the call confirming breast cancer.
i immediately dove deep in research and seeking insight and pressing in for wisdom and walking down a dark, hard road that became full of such extraordinary blessing and answers and doors opening that i didn’t know even existed.
it has become true: cancer has awakened in me and opened before me such a depth of love and experience and learning. the learning continues and takes shape as i step forward, with hope and healing tools, into the glorious unfolding of the new day.
my deep passion is to share this story – my story – and to come alongside others walking through the hard; to remind and gently encourage them of the real hope that is ours in the way we walk out the gift of this life. there are hard messy moments and experiences and the lessons take deep root and the growing continues and we remember again:
